These Terms govern your access to and use of the MyRupaya mobile/web application and related services offered in India. By creating an account, installing, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1) Services; No Fees
We currently provide two services free of charge:

Discount Finder — surfacing publicly available offers/discounts based on the brand/network and bank of payment cards you select.

Reviews of Financial Products — informational reviews and comparisons of financial products (e.g., credit cards, bank accounts).
We may add, modify, or discontinue features without notice, subject to Section 15 (Changes).
2) Eligibility
You must be 18 years or older and capable of forming a legally binding contract under applicable law. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
3) Account; Accuracy of Information
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activities under your account. Provide accurate and uptodate information, including your name, mobile number, and email address. Promptly notify us of unauthorised use or security issues.
4) Privacy
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy (India), which forms part of these Terms. By using the App, you acknowledge that we will process your data consistent with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder, the SPDI Rules, 2011, and, as applicable, the DPDP Act, 2023. See the App for the latest policy.
5) Contacts Feature (Optional; Reciprocity)
If you opt in and grant permission, the App may access your phone contacts (names and phone numbers/emails) to show you the card brand names of contacts who also use the App and enabled this feature. If you enable viewing, your own selected card brand names will be visible to such contacts on a reciprocal basis. You can withdraw permission anytime; core features remain available. Do not enable this feature unless you have the right to share your contacts’ details with us for this limited purpose.
6) Informational Nature; No Financial Advice
The App provides general information only. We are not a bank, NBFC, financial adviser, investment adviser, or insurance broker. No content is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice; nor is it a recommendation or an offer/solicitation for any financial product. Always verify with product issuers and consult qualified professionals before acting. You alone are responsible for your decisions.
7) ThirdParty Offers, Content & Links
Offers and product information are sourced from third parties and public sources. They may change, expire, or be inaccurate. We do not control thirdparty sites, terms, or fulfilment and are not responsible for any losses arising from thirdparty actions, omissions, or inaccuracies. Your dealings with third parties are solely between you and them.
8) User Obligations & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:

provide false information or misrepresent card brands or identity;

share or post card numbers, CVV, PIN, or other sensitive authentication data;

scrape, copy, reverse engineer, or use automated means to access the App except as permitted by law;

upload malware, interfere with App operation, or circumvent security controls;

infringe intellectual property or privacy rights;
-
use the App for unlawful, harmful, or competitive purposes.
9) License to Use the App
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, nontransferable, nonexclusive license to install and use the App on devices you own or control in India for your personal, noncommercial use.
10) Intellectual Property; Feedback
All content and software in the App are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We reserve all rights not expressly granted. If you submit feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royaltyfree license to use them without restriction or obligation to you.
11) User Content; Reviews & Ratings
If the App allows you to post reviews or ratings, you grant us a worldwide, nonexclusive, royaltyfree license to host, display, and use such content in connection with the Services. You represent your content is lawful, accurate, and does not infringe rights. We may moderate or remove content at our discretion.
12) Communications; Marketing
By providing your mobile number and/or email, you consent to receive service messages, notifications, and (where permitted by law and/or consented) marketing communications about shopping and other offers from us and selected partners. You can opt out of marketing at any time via inApp settings or unsubscribe links; service/transactional messages may still be sent.
13) No Fees; Charges from Third Parties
We do not charge you for using the App’s current Services. Your carrier or platform may charge data, messaging, or other fees. Thirdparty products you choose to purchase may entail fees governed by their terms.
14) Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP AND ALL INFORMATION (INCLUDING OFFERS AND REVIEWS) ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NONINFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OFFERS WILL BE AVAILABLE, THAT DISCOUNTS WILL BE HONOURED, OR THAT THE APP WILL BE ERRORFREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
15) Changes; Updates
We may update these Terms and/or the Services from time to time. Material changes will be notified inApp or by email where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16) Suspension; Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, pose a security risk, or where required by law. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your license ends and Sections intended to survive (e.g., IP, Disclaimers, Limitation, Indemnity, Governing Law) will continue.
17) Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MYRUPAYA OR ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR PARTNERS BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED INR 1,000 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
18) Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MyRupaya and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your: (a) access to or use of the App; (b) User Content; (c) violation of these Terms; or (d) violation of any law or thirdparty right.
19) Compliance with Indian Law
You agree to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the SPDI Rules, 2011, applicable consumer protection, telecom, and ecommerce guidelines, and, as applicable, the DPDP Act, 2023 and rules/regulations issued thereunder. You further agree not to upload or share any sensitive authentication data or other information prohibited by law or issuer rules.

Legal notices to us must be sent to the postal or email address above. Notices to you may be provided via the App, email, SMS, or push notification.
21) ThirdParty Promotion/Sharing Clause
Where permitted by law and consistent with our Privacy Policy, we may send you promotional communications and, with your consent where required, share limited identifiers (e.g., name, email, mobile number and highlevel preference segments) with selected third parties so they can promote or advertise their products or services to you. You may opt out at any time through the mechanisms provided.
22) App Stores & External Terms
If you obtained the App from an app store (e.g., Google Play, Apple App Store), you also agree to their applicable terms. Those providers are not responsible for maintenance or support of the App, for any product liability claims, or for claims that the App fails to conform to legal or regulatory requirements.
23) Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, by a sole arbitrator appointed mutually (or, failing agreement, in accordance with the Act). The seat and venue of arbitration will be New Delhi, India, and proceedings will be in English. Courts at New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for interim or injunctive relief.
24) Force Majeure
We will not be liable for delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, labour disputes, power or internet failures, government actions, or failures of thirdparty services.
25) Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us.

Severability. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.

No Waiver. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Assignment. You may not assign your rights; we may assign in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Headings. Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
Acceptance
By installing, accessing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use.
